Der Täuschung, die von den vernichtenden Mächten ausgeht und die leidenden Christen in Kleinasien bedrückt, wird eine deutliche Sicht der Welt und ihrer Geschichte entgegengesetzt, die vom Glauben an den Gott des Lebens und an sein Lamm getragen ist. Daraus schöpfen die Adressaten der Offenbarung Mut zum Ausharren und zur Hoffnung. Dies ist der Kern des letzten Buches der Bibel, das hier einmal nicht allegorisch ausgelegt wird. | ||
