Notre hypothèse est qu'être déchaussé désigne finalement pour Thérèse une remise radicale du religieux déchaussé au Christ, dans une insécurité accueillie comme un " tremplin théologal ", source de fécondité communautaire et missionnaire. Malheureusement, après sa mort, le mot déchaussé a subi un gauchissement, associé à la Descalcez, illusion d'une réforme indéformable et définitive, laissant peu de place à la précarité, ce qui explique probablement en partie sa désaffection actuelle. Par contre, dans les circonstances présentes marquées par de nombreuses incertitudes, le sens thérésien de déchaussé est d'une actualité brûlante. | ||
| 520 | |a Thérèse chose the name "discalced" for her Reform, intentionally drawing inspiration from a type of reform born in Spain among the Franciscans and the Poor Clares of the reform of saint Colette of Corbie of the monastery of the Royal Discalced in Madrid. But in the Carmelite family, she discerned and deepened what this term "discalced" covered in the Franciscan family. Our hypothesis is that being discalced ultimately designates for Thérèse a radical surrender of the discalced religious to Christ, in an insecurity welcomed as a "theological springboard", a source of community and missionary fertility. Unfortunately, after her death, the word "discalced" underwent a distortion, associated with the Descalcez, the illusion of an unalterable and definitive reform, leaving little room for precariousness. This probably partly explains its current disaffection. On the other hand, in the present circumstances marked by many uncertainties, the Teresian meaning of "discalced" is of burning relevance. | ||
