| Summary: | Der Beitrag fragt nach dominanten Deutungsangeboten im deutschen Kinospielfilm und diskutiert, inwieweit das Medium Film seiner Rolle als Referenzsystem für Pluralität und Diversität gerecht wird. Grundlage ist eine diskursanalytische Untersuchung von 40 kommerziell oder künstlerisch erfolgreichen Kinospielfilmproduktionen aus den Jahren 2012 bis 2020. Die Analyse zeigt, dass die filmische Bedeutungskonstitution entlang von Denkkonzepten erfolgt, die einen hohen gesellschaftlichen Stellenwert haben. Dabei dominieren privilegierte Perspektiven, sodass die Film-Deutungen von Welt insgesamt nur eine begrenzte Vielfalt erkennen lassen. This article examines dominant interpretations in German feature films and discusses the extent to which the medium of film fulfills its role as a reference system for plurality and diversity. It is based on a discourse analysis of 40 commercially or artistically successful feature film productions released in Germany between 2012 and 2020. The analysis shows that cinematic meaning is constructed along lines of thought that have a high social relevance. Privileged perspectives dominate, so that the film interpretations of the world as a whole reveal only limited diversity. |
