After briefly seeing some parallel topics, and Augustinian and Thomist teaching of the Council of Trent, we consider what is meant by psychotherapy and psychology and its distinction from psychiatry. Here we proceed to a consideration from the spiritual theology, as an inadequate knowledge of the laws of spiritual evolution produces the “necessity” of psychotherapy. We go then to the relationship between teaching and psychology, and the need for a renewal of Thomist bases. We end by mentioning some practical problems: education, individual crisis, church environments. | ||

Para el Aquinate, siguiendo a san Agustín, no se puede cumplir totalmente el orden natural humano sin la gracia, aparte de la perfección que le otorga. Después de ver brevemente algunos lugares paralelos y la enseñanza agustiniana y tomista del Concilio de Trento, se considera qué se entiende por psicoterapia y por psicología y su distinción respecto de la psiquiatría. Aquí se hace una consideración desde la teología espiritual, pues el inadecuado conocimiento de las leyes de la evolución espiritual produce la «necesidad» de la psicoterapia. Se ve después la relación entre el magisterio y la psicología y la necesidad de una renovación sobre bases tomistas. Se termina mencionando algunos problemas prácticos: educación, crisis individual, ámbitos eclesiales. | ||
