We say «law» in the sense of conditions or constant demands, which we see or notice on causal facts. And we call them «laws» to distinguish the so-called «principle of causality», which is not a regulator of causal facts, but of our knowledge of such facts. Therefore they have its base in the same empirical observation of causal events and subsequent ontological and scientific reflection. We leave aside, for now, the famous «principle of causality», which regulates rather our knowledge of causation, not the causal facts themselves. | ||
| 520 | |a Los hechos de causalidad poseen una estructura dinámico-ontológica, que se halla como regida por múltiples leyes o constantes; que serían también como «principios» regulativos de tales hechos causales en sus diversas formas de presentarse en el mundo real. Decimos «leyes» en el sentido de condiciones o exigencias constantes, que vemos o advertimos en los hechos causales. Y los llamamos «leyes» para distinguirlas del llamado «principio de causalidad», que no es un regulador de los hechos causales, sino de nuestro conocimiento de tales hechos. Tienen, pues, su base en la misma observación empírica de los hechos causales y la posterior reflexión ontológica y científica. Dejamos aparte, por ahora, el famoso «principio de causalidad», que regula más bien nuestro conocimiento de la causalidad, no los hechos causales mismos. | ||
