Este es el marco que movió la investigación, cuyo objetivo no apunta a las teorías psicoanalíticas de Jung, sino al estudio comparativo de dos imágenes simbólicas en ambos: Cristo y la serpiente. En primer lugar, hemos acudido a las fuentes documentales en Ignacio de Loyola y en Jung, en su Libro rojo. Al seguir el método comparativo y analítico, hemos acotado los términos sobre el significado del ojo interior y las imágenes surreales o simbólicas. En segundo lugar, nos hemos adentrado en el estudio comparativo de las figuras de Cristo y de la serpiente.El resultado ha sido que la Autobiografía está construida bajo dos parámetros: “Se le abrieron un poco los ojos” (8-10), hilo conductor hasta “la apertura ocular” (30-31). Esta progresiva apertura de los ojos teje el discernimiento de las mociones que acompañan el arco de estos números: mirar(se) a sí mismo (8-27), a los misterios de la fe (28-29) y a Cristo (30-31), donde la serpiente adquiere un valor simbólico fuerte. Las conclusiones de nuestra investigación son las siguientes:– Las tres imágenes –la serpiente, los misterios de la fe y Cristo– revelan un camino hacia la forma Christi, tanto en Ignacio como en Jung, para desvelar los engaños.– Ignacio y Jung se ejercitan en la imagen. Ambos, pese a sus diferencias, se suman a esa tradición que recupera el sentido de la vida como ejercicio espiritual.– Asumir la propia vida y conducirla a la forma Christi son dos de los ejercicios de quienes miran a Cristo, porque mediante el arte de figurar y figurarse, ellas se van conociendo interiormente y van adoptando la forma Christi: el acontecer de Dios y la emergencia de su sí mismo. | ||

This is the framework that moved the investigation, limiting its objective not to Jung’s psychoanalytic theories, but to the comparative study of two symbolic images between the two: Christ and the serpent. First, by exploring the documentary sources in Ignacio de Loyola and in Jung’s Red Book. Following the comparative and analytical method, we have narrowed down the terms on the meaning of the inner eye and surreal or symbolic images. In second place, we have entered into the comparative study of the figures of Christ and the serpent.The result has been that the Autobiography is built under two parameters: “His eyes were opened a little” (8-10), a common thread until “the eye opening” (30-31). This progressive opening of the eyes weaves the discernment of the motions that accompany the arc of these numbers: to look at oneself (8-27), at the mysteries of faith (28-29) and at Christ (30-31), where the snake acquires a strong symbolic value. The conclusions of our research are as follows:1. The three images—the serpent, the mysteries of faith and Christ—reveal a path towards the Christi form in both Ignatius and Jung, to reveal the deceptions.2. Ignatius and Jung exercise in the image. Both, despite their differences, join that tradition that recovers the meaning of life as a spiritual exercise.3. Assuming one’s own life and leading it to the Christi form are two of the exercises of those who look at Christ, because through the art of figuring and figuring oneself, these persons know themselves internally and adopt the Christi form: the occurrence of God and the emergence of their inner selves. | ||
