AB Se pretende presentar el cristianismo como una “opción fundamental” de la existencia humana que tiene como una de sus consecuencias morales básicas, de acuerdo con las directrices evangélicas, la práctica de la no-violencia sin ningún atenuante. En este sentido, se aboga por recuperar la tradición olvidada o perdida del cristianismo de las primeras comunidades de creyentes que se tomaron muy en serio este distintivo de la conducta cristiana. Esta reflexión permite que se visibilicen algunas orientaciones que pueden considerarse de actualidad apremiante en la búsqueda de alternativas a la particular situación de violencia que afronta la sociedad colombiana.
AB The intention is to present Christianity as a «fundamental option» of human existence that has as one of its moral basic consequences, in accordance with the teaching of the New Testament, the practice of non-violence without attenuation. In this sense, the author advocates the need for restoring the forgotten or lost tradition of primitive christianity, that took very serioulsy this characteristic of Christian behaviour. This reflection brings into light some guides for searching alternative solutions to the violent situation that confronts Colombian society.
