A partir d’une ethnographie et d’entretiens, l’étude montre comment la conversion déclenche chez les parents incompréhension, peurs et sentiment d’impuissance face à une identité religieuse nouvelle et perçue comme subversive. L’analyse s’appuie sur le concept de « catégorie révolutionnaire » illustrant comment la conversion redéfinit les relations parents-enfants.
