It is a bibliographic investigation based on a qualitative methodology that combines both interpretive and descriptive approaches. The article analyses how, from its origins and throughout history, walking has been used by philosophers, artists, and educators as a practice that promotes self-knowledge and emotional expression through the exploration of the natural environment in particular. It has allowed demonstrate its functionality in the field of emotional education. The article emphasizes the value of creativity, where memory, aesthetic experience, and intimate dialogue converge, activated through walking in connection with the environment, as opposed to the excessive use of digital devices. To illustrate this approach, testimonies from artists of the Generation of '98, such as Azorín, Pío Baroja, and Miguel de Unamuno, for whom walking was key in both their lives and works, have been considered. The article concludes with an analysis of Giner de los Ríos pedagogical walks, emphasizing their relevance and influence in modern education, and their ability to integrate nature and emotions into pedagogy. | ||
| 520 | |a Este artículo es un texto académico cuyo objetivo es poner en valor el potencial que la práctica de caminar posee como herramienta creativa y pedagógica, concretamente enfocado en su valor para la educación emocional y artística. Se trata de una investigación bibliográfica cuya metodología cualitativa está basada sobre un doble enfoque, interpretativo y descriptivo. En este artículo ha sido analizado cómo, desde sus inicios y a lo largo de la historia, caminar ha sido utilizado por filósofos, artistas y pedagogos como una práctica que favorece el autoconocimiento y la expresión emocional a través de la exploración del entorno, especialmente, natural. Esto ha permitido poner de manifiesto su funcionalidad en el campo de la educación emocional. En este caso, se ha explicado y ensalzado el valor de la creatividad donde confluyen la memoria, la experiencia estética y el diálogo íntimo, activados a través del caminar en conexión con el entorno, en contraposición al uso excesivo de dispositivos digitales. Para ilustrar este enfoque, se han considerado testimonios de artistas de la Generación del 98, como Azorín, Pío Baroja y Miguel de Unamuno, para quienes caminar fue clave en su vida y obra. El artículo concluye con un análisis de las caminatas pedagógicas de Giner de los Ríos, subrayando su influencia y vigencia en la educación moderna, y su capacidad de integrar la naturaleza y las emociones en la pedagogía. | ||
