Summary:Among the competencies present in training curricula, emotional education, grounded in ethical principles, is considered relevant for addressing social challenges. This work aims to analyze and assess, from the perspective of teachers and students, the development of an innovative teaching experience in which, through the use of cinema, the goal is to establish and consolidate appropriate ethical principles and values for fu­ture education professionals. A convergent mixed-methods approach was used to de­velop an evaluative study with a single-group pre-experimental design. The study involved 6 teachers and 278 students. After watching the film, The Wave and completing a reflection activity, the students rated the experience positively. The results show that the activity allowed for the development of critical thinking, a better understanding of theoretical concepts, their application to real-life situations, and the expression of per­sonal opinions. The paper concludes by emphasizing the importance of grounding the emotional education of education professionals in correct values, for both their personal and professional lives.
Entre las competencias presentes en los planes de formación, la educación emocio­nal, cimentada en unos principios éticos, se considera relevante para abordar los desafíos sociales. Este trabajo tiene la finalidad de analizar y valorar, desde la perspectiva de profesores y estudiantes, el desarrollo de una experiencia docente innovadora en la que, gracias al empleo del cine, se pretende establecer y consolidar unos principios éticos y valores adecuados para los futuros profesionales de la educación. Con un enfoque de investigación mixto convergente se desarrolla una investigación evaluativa con un di­seño pre-experimental de un solo grupo. En el estudio participan 6 docentes y 278 estu­diantes. Tras ver la película La Ola y completar una actividad de reflexión, los estudiantes valoraron la experiencia positivamente. Los resultados muestran que la ac­tividad permitió desarrollar el pensamiento crítico, comprender mejor conceptos teóri­cos y aplicarlos a situaciones reales, así como emitir valoraciones personales. Se concluye subrayando la importancia de fundamentar la educación emocional de los pro­fesionales de la educación en unos correctos valores, de cara tanto a su actividad perso­nal como profesional.
