This act has come to public light due to the accusations that the Church historian Alexandra von Teuffenbach has directed against Josef Kentenich, for eventual abusive practices, abuse of power, and emotional manipulation, that he would have committed against a group of consecrated women in the late 1940s. My thesis is that the Kindesexamen that seems to condemn Kentenich, can also function as a small semi-open window that illuminates many of his most original intuitions in both religious and psychological fields: the richness of Therese of Lisieux's spirituality of the "little way", the relevance of second causes and the concrete link to a father figure on the natural plane, as well as the importance of recognizing our weaknesses and of sublimating sexuality as therapeutic-pastoral forms. | ||
| 520 | |a El propósito de este artículo es analizar una pieza de espiritualidad que ha estado en el último tiempo en el centro de la polémica: el denominado "examen filial" o Kindesexamen que el fundador del Movimiento Apostólico de Schoenstatt fue gestando al interior de una de sus fundaciones. Este acto ha salido a la luz pública debido a las acusaciones que la historiadora de la Iglesia Alexandra von Teuffenbach ha dirigido contra Josef Kentenich, por eventuales prácticas abusivas, abuso de poder y manipulación emocional que habría cometido contra un grupo de mujeres consagradas a fines de los años 40. Nuestra tesis es que el Kindesexamen, que parece condenar a Kentenich, puede también funcionar como una pequeña ventana semi abierta que ilumina buena parte de sus intuiciones más originales tanto en el ámbito religioso como psicológico: la riqueza de la espiritualidad del "caminito" de Teresita de Lisieux, la relevancia de las causas segundas y la vinculación concreta a una figura de paternidad en el plano natural, así como la importancia del reconocimiento de muestras debilidades y la sublimación de la sexualidad como formas terapéuticas-pastorales. | ||
