In einem ersten Schritt werden die hierfür zentralen gerechtigkeitstheoretischen Herausforderungen nachgezeichnet, um daran in einem zweiten Schritt festzumachen, worin mögliche Advocacy-Elemente zivilgesellschaftlichen Engagements liegen. In einem dritten Schritt wird unter Rückgriff auf den theologischen Topos der »Option für die Armen« die hohe Anschlussfähigkeit von Advocacy an katholische Identität und Ekklesiologie begründet, um abschließend anhand einiger ausgewählter Beispiele zu illustrieren, wie sich dies in Positionen des kirchlichen Lehramts und in der Praxis katholischer Akteure (mit besonderem Fokus auf Deutschland) zeigt. | ||
