Discute-se a fundamental necessidade dos jovens por referenciais no amadurecimento humano e espiritual, e o papel da comunidade religiosa como espaço não apenas de socialização, mas de identificação com valores e crenças, e de construção de projetos de vida. Por meio de análise bibliográfica, o estudo explora a definição de pertencimento religioso, sua relação com o sentido de vida e a superação de transtornos mentais, e a necessidade de pertencersob óticas da teologiae das ciências da saúde. Conclui-se que a comunidade religiosaatua como apoio social vital, fundamentado em relacionamentos e em uma teologia que enfatiza a dignidade da pessoa humana, oferecendo, assim, um valioso fator protetivo contra o suicídio. | ||
| 520 | |a This article analyzes the contribution of religious communities to the prevention and postvention of youth suicide, based on the concept of belonging. It discusses young people’s fundamental need for reference points in their human and spiritual maturation, and the role of the religious community as a space not only for socialization but also for identification with values and beliefs, and for the construction of life projects. Through a bibliographic analysis, the study explores the definition of religious belonging, its relationship with the meaning of life and the overcoming of mental disorders, and the need to belong from the perspectives of theology and health sciences. It is concluded that the religious community acts as a vital social support, founded on relationships and a theology that emphasizes the dignity of the human person, thus offering a valuable protective factor against suicide. | ||
