Both Hanh's activist and pacifist Zen Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhism, which critiques the self and alienation associated with magic and sexual liberation, brought relevant analytical dimensions of a critical attitude toward the present, through mindfulness and the hope of a process of community teaching associated with transgressive education and positioned against racism, sexism, domination, sexual and gender oppression, as well as a strong critique of weaponry and self-centered religiosity. Thinking with the concomitance of action without losing sight of the common, seeking a critical embrace, was a significant contribution of Buddhism to bell hooks's Black feminist thought, a process of self-care and urban care. | ||
| 520 | |a Este artigo visa trazer alguns pontos de intersecção entre o pensamento da educação libertária de bell hooks, no seu feminismo negro de crítica ao sexismo, ao racismo, ao imperialismo bélico-militar e à religiosidade dogmática por meio da sua relação com o budismo de Thich Nhat Hanh e de Chögyam Trungpa. Tanto o zen budismo ativista e paci sta de Hanh quanto o budismo tibetano de crítica do eu e da alienação associado à magia e à liberação sexual trouxeram dimensões analíticas relevantes de atitude crítica face ao presente na atenção plena e no esperançar de um processo do ensinar comunidade associado à educação transgressora e posicionada contra o racismo, o sexismo, à dominação, à opressão sexual e de gênero bem como de crítica contundente ao armamento e à religiosidade autocentrada. Pensar com a concomitância da ação sem perder a atenção do comum em busca de um acolhimento com crítica foi uma considerável contribuição do budismo ao pensamento feminista negro de bell hooks para um processo de cuidado de si e da cidade. | ||
