The reference to some «capse» in a letter send by abbot Oliba to the monks of Ripoll leads to the deduction that they were little chests with relics of St Benedict and St Scholastica, sent in 1023 by abbot Gauzlin. | ||

L'esment de la festivitat litúrgica de la Pasqua de Resurrecció en la primera d'elles permet datar la sèrie entre els anys 1020 i 1023, consecutivament, llevat de les dues referents a l'abat Abbó de Fleury, afegides quan ja es trobava en aquell monestir. La referència a unes «capse» en una carta que l'abat Oliba féu arribar als monjos de Ripoll fa deduir que es tractava d'arquetes per a estotjar les relíquies de sant Benet i de santa Escolàstica trameses l'any 1023 per l'abat Gauzlí. | ||
