| Summary: | The author studies a new Romanesque mural, just discovered, whose subject is that of the title of this paper. This constitutes a new image in the catalogue of Romanesque iconography of the martyr of Toulouse and apostle to the Gauls. The author identifies the subject and explores the implications of the find: what this scene means in that place and what can be deduced from it: in the now-destroyed apse there may have been depicted the martyrdom of Saturninus with his legs bound to the bull and the beast dragging the saint down the steps of the Toulouse Capitole. The article attempts to make a stylistic ascription of the mural to one of the painters who worked on the churchs decoration. L'autora estudia un nou mural romànic descobert suara, el de l'escena que dóna nom a l'article, que afegeix una nova imatge al catàleg de la iconografia romànica del sant màrtir de Tolosa de Llenguadoc i evangelitzador de la Gàl·lia. L'identifica amb un moment de la història del martiri del sant immediatament anterior a aquest. I, alhora, n'estudia les implicacions: què significa tenir aquesta escena en aquest lloc i el que se'n pot deduir: que a l'absis (enderrocat d'antic) hi hauria pogut figurar el martiri pròpiament dit, és a dir, l'escena en què el sant, lligat pels peus al toro, és arrossegat escales avall del capitoli de Tolosa. I també l'adscriu estilísticament a un dels pintors que treballaren en la decoració de l'església. |
