| Summary: | The Sacramentary Gellona II is the manuscript Montpellier, Bib. Mun., ms. 18. It was written between the years 1000-1025 in the same monastery of Gellona, nowadays Saint-Gulhem-le-Désert, for the use of its monastic community. It is the most ancient sacramentary integrally preserved in the whole ecclesiastic province of Narbone. It has the peculiarity of presenting the sources of all the Carolingian sacramentaries Gregorian, Aniane Supplement and Frankish Gelasian not yet completely merged, and this allows to follow the steps of the formation of later narbonnese sacramentaries. In the folia 206-207v, furthermore, it presents the list of the members of the Fraternitas Sancti Wilielmi started around the year 1100. El Sacramentari Gellona II és el manuscrit Montpeller, Bib. Mun., ms. 18. Fou escrit entre els anys 1000-1025 en el mateix monestir de Gellona, avui Sant Guillem del Desert, per a ús de la seva comunitat monàstica. És el més antic sacramentari conservat íntegre de tota l'antiga província eclesiàstica de Narbona. Té la peculiaritat de presentar les tres fonts de tots els sacramentaris carolingis Gregorià, Suplement d'Aniana i Gelasià franc encara no completament fusionades, i això permet de seguir els passos de la formació dels altres sacramentaris narbonesos més tardans. Als folis 206-207v, a més, presenta la llista dels membres de la Fraternitas Sancti Wilielmi iniciada vers l'any 1100. |
