| Summary: | This paper deals with the several extant versions of the parable of Lazarus and Dives in the Romanesque art of Catalonia, in mural painting and in stone sculpture, either complete or almost (as in the Ripoll portal and the cloisters of Sant Cugat del Vallès and of the cathedral of Girona) or with a single image. The bosom of Abraham, as a figure of Paradise, appears in Sant Joan de Boí and in Sant Romà d?Aineto. The feast of the rich man of Sant Pere de Sorpe was part of a more enlarged cycle, and in Sant Climent de Taüll the dives?s table (in situ) was placed in front of the poor Lazarus (MNAC), in a very interesting and original program. En aquest article s'analitzen les diferents representacions romàniques de la paràbola conservades a Catalunya, tant de pintura mural, com d'escultura en pedra, i tant si hi apareix sencera o quasi sencera (com a la portalada de Ripoll i als claustres de Sant Cugat del Vallès i de la catedral de Girona), com si només s'hi mostra alguna de les seves imatges. En destaca la del si d'Abraham com a evocació del Paradís, que es troba a les pintures de Sant Joan de Boí i de Sant Romà d'Aineto. El banquet del ric Epuló de Sant Pere de Sorpe formava part d'un cicle més ampli i el de Sant Climent de Taüll, conservat in situ, es contraposava, al pobre Llàtzer davant la porta del ric (MNAC), en un programa molt interessant i original. |
