Partiendo del análisis de los Códigos de Derecho Canónico de 1917 y 1983, se destaca cómo la diferenciación jurídica entre estas instituciones ha moldeado su impacto en la educación superior, abordando también el papel de la Constitución Apostólica Veritatis Gaudium. El estudio se centra en el contexto español, donde la interacción entre Derecho eclesiástico y civil ha sido clave para el reconocimiento académico de titulaciones. Desde el Concordato de 1953 hasta los desarrollos más recientes, como el Real Decreto 1619/2011, se analiza el proceso de homologación de títulos eclesiásticos, que garantiza su equivalencia con los grados universitarios oficiales dentro del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES). Este marco incluye la implementación de créditos ECTS y la supervisión por parte de la Agencia para la Valoración y Promoción de la Calidad de las Universidades y Facultades Eclesiásticas (AVEPRO). | ||
