While restricting the field to the Italian translations of the Qur'an, we will be able to spotlight the different historical contexts and periods in which they appeared and the ever new challenges that translators had to face in an effort that by its very nature can never be considered definitive, but will return to propose itself in different situations, also and perhaps especially in terms of the intentions and purposes that will gradually take over from previous attempts. | ||
| 520 | |a La stessa scelta di tradurre un testo classico o addirittura sacro di una diversa comunità religiosa, il momento in cui se ne produce la versione e le modalità con cui è effettuata, oltre agli apparati quali introduzioni e note, sollevano molteplici problematiche a vari livelli: non soltanto linguistico e stilistico, ma anche culturale e contenutistico. Pur restringendo il campo alle sole traduzioni in lingua italiana del Corano, potremo rilevare i differenti contesti e periodi storici in cui hanno visto la luce e le sfide sempre nuove che i traduttori hanno dovuto affrontare in uno sforzo che per sua natura non potrà mai dirsi definitivo, ma tornerà a proporsi in situazioni differenti anche e forse soprattutto per quanto riguarda gli intenti e le finalità che via via prenderanno il sopravvento rispetto ai precedenti tentativi. | ||
