| Summary: | The study about the holiness of the Church and its influence on the history demands a detailed analysis of each period. The XIX century, for instance, is known on account of difficulties in the Church. The theologian Mathias Scheeben characterizes very well the theological thought and the difficulties of the transition from the Roman school to the the Neo-scholastic time. It is a col-laboration that must be studied, then scheeben has introduced a supernatural and more sacramental sight of the Church instead of the juridical image. O estudo do tema da santidade da Igreja e de sua influência na história requer uma análise detalhada e circunstancial a cada período. O século XIX, por e-xemplo, foi pródigo em dificuldades eclesiais. O teólogo Mathias Scheeben ca-racteriza bem o pensamento teológico e as dificuldades da transição entre a Escola romana e o período da Neo-escolástica. Uma colaboração que merece ser aprofundada pelo deslocamento da visão jurídica da Igreja para uma visão mais sacramental e sobrenatural. |
