Por isso, o Concílio Vaticano II não duvida em chamá-la de “fonte e ápice da vida cristã’ (LG 11). Do ponto de vista eclesial, a Eucaristia é a manifestação e a realização mais significante da Igreja, já que nela tem lugar a plena integração do Cristo no seu Mistério Pascal. Nela, Cristo se faz presente em sua Igreja de forma mais intensa; nela se manifestam e renovam as diversas dimensões da missão, como comunhão, palavra, liturgia, caridade; nela se faz significar e se realiza a mútua e complementária relação entre reunião (assembléia) e missão (ação), entre a Palavra e o próprio Sacramento; é a Páscoa da Igreja-comunhão. | ||
