Alguns títulos atribuídos a Jesus revelam a natureza pública do cristianismo no contexto histórico do I século da nossa era, seja na pessoa histórica de Jesus, seja na compreensão dos discípulos, tais como “Messias”, “Filho de Deus”, “Filho do homem” e “Rei de Israel”. O impacto público do cristianismo na sua origem é verificado na sua proposta de futuro histórico e escatológico, e confirmado pela sentença de morte obtida pelo Sinédrio e aplicada pelo Procurador Romano Pôncio Pilatos. | ||
