| Summary: | Tomando el Seminario de Santiago como modelo, he tratado primeramente de establecer cuáles fueron las principales pautas seguidas para la formación de los seminaristas españoles durante el siglo XIX. Para ello, además de indicar la evolución que respecto al sistema anterior supuso la aparición del seminario, se han abordado cuestiones referidas a la estructura de los estudios, asignaturas impartidas, orientaciones ideológicas o metodología empleada. Por su parte, el nivel de aplicación y aprovechamiento mostrado por los alumnos ha sido abordado tanto por los resultados de los exámenes como por los años cursados y calificaciones obtenidas. Taking the seminar of Santiago as the pattern, firstly I have tried to establish the main guidelines followed for the training of the Spanish seminarists during the 19th century. In order to do so, besides indicating the evolution brought about and the changes formed by the apparition of the seminar on the previous system, other questions have also been tackled, such as the way studies are structured, taught subjects, ideological orientations, or the methodology used. At the same time, the application and improvement level shown by the students has been taken into account both by the exams'results and by the academic years involved and the grades obtained. |
