| 520 | |a Este artigo teve como foco e objetivo analisar o surgimento do conceito de leigo nos séculos I e II e o posicionamento de alguns Santos Padres, aludindo aos leigos, e os leigos nos Documentos do Magistério Eclesial. Conclui-se que nos documentos da igreja e dentro do seu magistério a idéia base era a mesma que reina ainda nos dias de hoje, que o leigo deve trazer para a Igreja a sua experiência de participação nos problemas e desafios do seu mundo secular, pois é justamente nesse mundo que são chamados por Deus para exercer a missão que lhes foi confiada. O fundamental que se constata, portanto, é que o leigo desempenha sua missão evangelizadora, sem se afastar do mundo e da sua condição secular. Ele está engajado na estrutura desse mundo e deve desempenhar sua missão, transformando o mundo, conforme o Espírito de Cristo. Concluindo-se então que o tempo moderno é, sem dúvida, um desafio para a evangelização; porém, o cristão leigo tem como grande missão evangelizar e buscar construir o Reino de Deus no mundo, tratando das realidades temporais e sendo portador da fonte geradora da luz, que é Jesus Cristo. | ||
| 520 | |a This article has had a focus and objective look at the emergence of the concept of a layman in centuries I and II and the positioning of some Saints Priests, alluding to the laity, and the laity in the documents of the Magisterium of the Church. It is concluded that in documents of the Church and within your teaching the basic idea was the same that prevails even today that the layman should bring the Church to his experience of participation in the issues and challenges of his secular world, because it is precisely in this world who are called by God to exercise the mission assigned to them. The fundamental notes, therefore, is that the layman plays his evangelising mission, without leaving the world and its secular condition. He is engaged in the structure of this world and should play its mission, transforming the world, as the spirit of Christ. Concluding that the modern time is undoubtedly a challenge to evangelization; however, the Christian laity has as great mission to evangelise and seek to build the Kingdom of God in the world, dealing with the temporal and bringer of generating source of light, which is Jesus Christ. | ||
