520 |a Cerebral palsy (CP) is a prevalent physical disability in children, with significant implications for both affected individuals and their caregivers. This study explores the relationship between spiritual health, resilience, and caregiving burden in mothers of children with CP. Utilizing a cross-sectional design, 146 caregivers of children with CP were recruited from an NGO support group in Iran. Participants completed validated questionnaires assessing caregiver burden, spiritual well-being, and resilience. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and structural equation modeling. Result revealed that religious well-being (β = 0.318, t-value = 2.763) was significantly associated with resilience. Resilience (β = −0.650, t-value = 4.729) was significantly associated with reduced caregiver burden, explaining 49% of the variance. However, existential well-being showed no significant association with caregiver burden. The findings underscore the critical role of religious well-being and resilience in mitigating caregiver burden. Enhancing spiritual health and resilience in caregivers can potentially reduce the stress and challenges associated with caring for children with CP. This study highlights the need for supportive interventions that incorporate spiritual and resilience-building components to alleviate caregiver burden.
