AB Zu Trosterfahrungen am Ende des Lebens gibt es verschiedene Beiträge und Untersuchungen. Trosterfahrungen am Ende des Lebens bei Christinnen und Christen der evangelisch-reformierten Konfession wurden kaum systematisch untersucht und beschrieben. Die Einsichten der phänomenologischen Studie "Pearls of comfort. Experiencing divine and human comfort at the end of life" (Dissertation, Holder-Franz 2025) gibt Einblicke, wie unterschiedliche Trosterfahrungen Menschen am Ende des Lebens unterstützen und wie sie diese Erfahrungen beschreiben. Obwohl der Fokus dieser Untersuchung nicht auf den Psalmen lag, sind die hier aufgeführten Aussagen zu bestimmten Psalmen im Kontext von Palliative Care und Spiritual Care wichtig, da sie von einem Reichtum spiritueller persönlicher Entwicklung zeugen und das Erinnern und Beten von Psalmen und Psalmworten als eine mögliche Trostquelle am Ende des Lebens herausstreichen.
AB There are various contributions and studies on experiences of consolation at the end of life. Experiences of comfort at the end of life among Christians of the Protestant Reformed denomination have hardly been systematically analysed and described. The insights of the phenomenological study "Pearls of comfort. Experiencing divine and human comfort at the end of life" (dissertation, Holder-Franz 2025) provide insights into how different experiences of comfort support people at the end of life and how they describe these experiences. Although the focus of this study was not on the Psalms, the statements made here about specific Psalms in the context of palliative care and spiritual care are important as they testify to a richness of spiritual, personal development and open up Psalm texts as a possible source of comfort at the end of life.
