AB The Author does an analysis on the present day papacy in its decline, in which the Pope, faced with the crisis of the contemporary world, tries to fix realigning parameters for the institutional path of the Church at the turn of the millennium. Though the Pope uses modern resources for evangelization, his voice is lost in an individualistic society oscillating between emotion and apathy.
AB O Autor faz uma análise do atual pontificado em seu ocaso, em que o Papa, diante da crise do mundo contemporâneo, tenta fixar parâmetros realinhadores da caminhada institucional da Igreja na virada do milênio. Embora o Papa use os recursos da modernidade para a evangelização, sua voz se perde numa sociedade individualista, oscilando entre emoção e apatia.
