Description
Summary:In Aparecida, the Latin American and Caribbean Church has met once more its first post Vatican II intuition: that of being attuned with the socio-economic-cultural environment of the Continent, where large social movements are trying to built a new socio-economic development model. This reencounter may be perceived in the text of the final document, provided it is read in the light of the seeing-assessing-acting methodology. Moreover, it can also be perceived in the actual event in Aparecida, an event that will remain as a historical milestone of the Episcopal collegiate in our Continent.
