總結:Of the 800 scrolls discovered at Qumran, only four scrolls contain names of seven historical figures. These seven individuals were active from the middle of the second century B.C.E. to the middle of the first century B. C .E. This article attempts to demonstrate that there is evidence that the epithets, or the conventional nicknames which appear in the pesharim and in the Damascus Covenant, do refer to historical figures of the same period. In order to prove this, a summary of the historical details regarding the Qumran sect and its members, as gleaned from the Qumran scrolls, is provided.
