| Sumario: | The article addresses the challenges of queer-sensitive pastoral care for intersex individuals within the Catholic Church. It emphasizes the need for awareness, inclusive language, and ‚safer spaces‘ in pastoral care, as well as a reflection on the Church’s historical responsibility towards intersex persons. The promotion of ambiguity tolerance and the acknowledgment of the diversity of human gender identities are presented as key ethical guidelines for a just and inclusive pastoral care that recognizes intersex individuals as full members of the community. |
