Description
Summary:THE 2016 CISTERCIAN and Monastic Studies Conference differed from the pattern of previous years. The organizers of the Medieval Congress at Western Michigan University preferred to allot far fewer sessions to the Center for Cistercian and Monastic Studies than has been customary, and so three sessions, held on Thursday, May 16, were not part of the Congress itself, and there were no sessions on Sunday, May 15. The attendees at the Conference were, as always, numerous, international, and varied in their scholarly specialties and perspectives.
