Resumo:In preparation for the fiftieth anniversary of the successful 1967 constitutional referendum, a large gathering of Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islanders convened at Uluru and published their "Uluru Statement from the Heart" on 26 May 2017. Aboriginal leaders Pat Anderson, Noel Pearson and Megan Davis presented the statement to the nation and answered the media's queries.
