| Summary: | This paper examines different theories concerning the composition of Ezra-Nehemiah and the possible date of the composition of Ezra- Nehemiah. This will be done in three stages. First, we examine the compositional relationship between Chronicles and Ezra-Nehemiah. Second, we will concentrate on the question of the possible date(s) of both Ezra's and Nehemiah's arrival in Palestine. Finally, once possible date(s) of both Ezra's and Nehemiah's arrival have been suggested, we would then be in a better position to suggest some possible date(s) for the composition of Ezra-Nehemiah. |
