The Phoenicians - major role players of the ancient Mediterranean world (651)
This paper summarises the results of recent years of archaeological excavations at a number of smaller Phoenician sites, but also a number of sites outside Phoenicia proper. The material culture, temples, cult, vurial customs and a number of art objects of the Phoenicians are discussed.
