Anhand dreier Fallbeispiele aus Indien, Burundi und der Tschechischen Republik kann exemplarisch gezeigt werden, wie sehr das jeweilige Umfeld die Schwierigkeiten diözesaner Presse prägt. Mediensystem, gesellschaftliche und diözesane Rahmenbedingungen scheinen als Einflussgrößen auf die Bistumspresse größer zu werden, je weniger stabil ein Land und seine Gesellschaft entwickelt sind. | ||

Thereby, it becomes clear that the problems faced by diocesan newspapers are always closely related to the specific media system and to the social and diocesan environments where they are published. Based upon three case examples from India, Burundi, and the Czech Republic, it can be clearly shown to what degree a specific environment influences the difficulties of the respective diocesan press.
