Descrição
Resumo:Some early manuscripts of the Peshitta that seem to preserve the oldest version of P read in Lam 2:5 Adonai has become an enemy, he has devoured Israel, vis-a-vis MT ‮כְּאוֹיֵב‬‎ like an enemy. The omission of the comparative seems to go back to the proto-Masoretic Vorlage of P, which can be reconstructed as *‮היה אדני אויב‬‎ and is likely to have also formed the Vorlage of Tg.
