| Summary: | The phenomenon of ‘racism’ encompasses various levels (e. g. historical, individual, ideological, structural) and aspects (e. g. ideology, power, discourse). At the same time, other forms of discrimination (e. g. sexism, classism) are shifting out of focus. Starting from a clarification of the concepts of racism and discrimination, interactions and structural conditions of discrimination(s) are taken into account. This leads to the concept of ‘intersectionality’, which is reflected for religious education and profiled as an overarching discrimination-critical perspective including ‘religion’ as a category of distinction. Based on two empirical studies in religious education, the potential of such a perspective is clarified and outlined prospectively for religious education. Das Phänomen ‚Rassismus‘ umfasst verschiedene Ebenen (z. B. historische, individuelle, ideologische, strukturelle) und Aspekte (z. B. Ideologie, Macht, Diskurs). Gleichzeitig rücken andere Diskriminierungsformen (z. B. Sexismus, Klassismus) aus dem Fokus. Ausgehend von einer Klärung der Konzepte von Rassismus und Diskriminierung werden Wechselwirkungen und strukturelle Bedingtheit von Diskriminierung(en) in den Blick genommen. Dies führt zum Konzept ‚Intersektionalität‘, das für Religionspädagogik reflektiert und als übergreifend diskriminierungskritische Perspektive unter Einbezug von ‚Religion‘ als Differenzkategorie profiliert wird. Basierend auf zwei religionspädagogischen, empirischen Studien wird das Potenzial einer solchen Perspektive für die Religionspädagogik verdeutlicht und ausblickend auch für Religionsunterricht konturiert. |
