Cuando la Operación Anti-Terrorista (ATO por sus siglas en inglés) empezó, las ucranianas se unieron al frente de batalla en la guerra del Donbás como voluntarias, periodistas, personal médico y combatientes. Los datos recabados a través de cinco estudios sociológicos, que forman parte de un proyecto llamado «el Batallón Invisible», demuestran los éxitos y desafíos derivados de la implantación de la igualdad de género en las fuerzas armadas ucranianas. Este artículo analiza formas de resistencia militar que las mujeres ucranianas llevaron a cabo durante la actual guerra, pero también presta atención a otras formas de resistencia no militar. Las mujeres no son solo víctimas de la guerra que pertenecen a un grupo vulnerable. También son agentes de resistencia que participan en distintas actividades. En respuesta a la invasión militar rusa a gran escala de Ucrania, las mujeres siguen activas: los resultados de una encuesta de opinión pública de enero de 2023 demuestran que la mayoría de mujeres ucranianas están dispuestas a resistir por las armas. Es necesario explicar a algunas académicas y feministas occidentales por qué la paz no es posible sin victoria ni justicia. Por ello, las mujeres ucranianas reclaman solidaridad y comprensión informadas. | ||

Als die Anti-Terror-Operation (ATO) begann, traten Frauen als Freiwillige, Journalistinnen, medizinisches Personal und Militärs (in Gefechtstellungen) an die Front des Donbas-Krieges. Daten aus fünf soziologischen Studien mit dem Titel 'Unsichtbares Bataillon' ('Invisible Battalion') zeigen die Erfolge und Herausforderungen bei der Umsetzung der Geschlechtergleichstellung in den ukrainischen Streitkräften. Würde und Professionalität sind die Werte der Streitkräfte, die mit der Integration von Frauen und dem Prozess der Umsetzung der Geschlechtergleichstellung zusammenhängen. In diesem Artikel werden hauptsächlich militärische, aber auch nicht-militärische Formen des Widerstands untersucht, die ukrainische Frauen während des gegenwärtigen Krieges geleistet haben. Frauen sind nicht nur Opfer der Situation, die unter dem Krieg leiden und zu verletzlichen Gruppen gehören. Sie sind auch Akteurinnen des Widerstands, die über Handlungsmacht verfügen und an verschiedenen Aktivitäten teilnehmen. Als Reaktion auf die umfassende militärische Invasion Russlands in der Ukraine bleiben die Frauen aktiv: Die Ergebnisse einer öffentlichen Meinungsumfrage (Januar 2023) zeigen, dass die meisten ukrainischen Frauen bereit sind, mit Waffengewalt Widerstand zu leisten. Es ist notwendig, einigen westlichen Wissenschaftler:innen und feministischen Aktivist:innen darzulegen, warum Frieden ohne Sieg und Gerechtigkeit nicht möglich ist. Deshalb hoffen ukrainische Feministinnen auf informierte Solidarität und Verständnis. | ||

When the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) started, women joined the front lines of the Donbas war as volunteers, journalists, medical staff and military (in combat positions). Data from five sociological studies, called 'Invisible Battalion', demonstrate the successes and challenges of gender equality implementation in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This article analyses mainly military but also non-military forms of resistance exercised by Ukrainian women during the current war. Women are not only victims of the situation who suffer from war and belong to vulnerable groups. They are also actors of resistance who have agency and participate in different activities. In response to Russia’s full-scale military invasion of Ukraine, women remain active: results of a public opinion survey (January 2023) demonstrate that most Ukrainian women are willing to resist with arms. There is a need to explain to some Western scholars and feminist activists why peace is not possible without victory and justice. That is why Ukrainian feminists ask for informed solidarity and understanding. | ||
