AB Religionssoziologische Beobachtungen zeigen, dass sich im deutschsprachigen Raum die Dynamiken immer mehr in Richtung einer religionslosen Gesellschaft verschieben. Es verstehen sich immer weniger Menschen als religiös oder spirituell - derzeit nur noch 6 % der Gesamtbevölkerung. Religiöse Bildung bleibt davon weder inhaltlich noch organisatorisch unberührt. Der Band ergründet, welche Rolle religiöser Bildung vor diesem Hintergrund in Bezug auf Allgemeinbildung und deren schulischer Vermittlung überhaupt zukommt.
