One of his first assignments was to locate a place where OMSC could relocate from Ventnor, New Jersey. He was an important part of the 1987 move to New Haven, Connecticut. A key assistant to Gerald H. Anderson, he was influential at a time when OMSC was transforming itself from a place where Westerners on furlough found respite to a world-class missions study center.
