| Summary: | The objective of this article is to highlight the anthropological universalization of liberation in the theology of Juan Luis Segundo (1925-1996). Evidently influenced by the demands of both modern Enlightenments (of man and praxis), J. L. Segundo is primarily concerned with reinterpreting theology in light of a consistent anthropology that distinguishes between values (anthropological faith) and systems of efficacy (ideology). Subsequently, he questions and promotes historical praxis for social transformation based on the profound human values and humanizing aspects of the gospel. As one of the first-generation theologians of Liberation Theologies, Segundo showed particular interest in establishing a theological reflection that not only speaks of liberation but is genuinely liberating. To achieve this, it is necessary to be suspicious, starting from a previous humanizing political option and a critical experience of reality, that the superstructures (Church and theology), as currently configured, maintain unjust social structures. Therefore, they need to be de-ideologized. The anthropological-liberating key resonates in the theological method to accomplish this task. This article explores the modern itinerary of emancipation and transformation of history as claims of modernity, its reception in theological scope, and demonstrates its influence and receptivity in J. L. Segundo’s theology. O objetivo deste artigo é salientar a universalização antropológica da libertação na teologia de Juan Luis Segundo (1925-1996). Eminentemente influenciado pelas reivindicações das duas Ilustrações modernas (do homem e da práxis), J. L. Segundo se preocupa, primeiramente, em reler a teologia à luz de uma consistente antropologia que distingue valores (fé antropológica) e sistemas de eficácia (ideologia) para, em seguida, perguntar-se e motivar a práxis histórica de transformação social a partir dos profundos valores humanos e humanizadores do evangelho. Um dos teólogos de primeira geração das Teologias da Libertação, revelou especial interesse por fundamentar uma reflexão teológica que não apenas fale de libertação, mas que seja de fato libertadora. Para tanto, é necessário suspeitar, a partir de uma opção política humanizadora prévia e de uma experiência crítica da realidade, que as superestruturas (Igreja e teologia), como estão configuradas, sejam fonte de manutenção das injustas estruturas sociais. Por conseguinte, é necessário desideologizá-las. Para efetuar esta tarefa, a chave antropológico-libertadora reverbera sobre o método teológico. Neste artigo, expõe-se o itinerário moderno de emancipação e transformação da história como reivindicações da modernidade, passando pela sua acolhida em âmbito teológico e demonstrando a sua influência e receptividade na teologia de J. L. Segundo. El objetivo de este artículo es resaltar la universalización antropológica de la liberación en la teología de Juan Luis Segundo (1925-1996). Eminentemente influido por las pretensiones de las dos Ilustraciones modernas (del hombre y de la praxis), J. L. Segundo se preocupa, en primer lugar, por releer la teología a la luz de una antropología coherente que distinga valores (fe antropológica) y sistemas de eficacia (ideología). para, en entonces, preguntarse y motivar la praxis histórica de transformación social basada en los profundos valores humanos y humanizadores del evangelio. Uno de los teólogos de primera generación de las Teologías de la Liberación, reveló un especial interés en fundar una reflexión teológica que no sólo hable de liberación, sino que sea liberadora. Para ello, es necesario sospechar, a partir de una opción política humanizadora previa y de una experiencia crítica de la realidad, que las superestructuras (Iglesia y teología), tal como están configuradas, son fuente de mantenimiento de estructuras sociales injustas. Por tanto, es necesario desideologizarlos. Para llevar a cabo esta tarea, la clave antropológico-liberadora resuena sobre el método teológico. En este artículo se expone el itinerario moderno de emancipación y transformación de la historia como exigencias de la modernidad, incluyendo su aceptación en el ámbito teológico y demostrando su influencia y receptividad en la teología de J. L. Segundo. |
