| Summary: | This study aims to verify the presence of elements common to the catechumenal methodology in the New Testament accounts of Mt 18,19-20 and At 8,26-40. It is pertinent to evaluate the description that the reports present about the evangelizing action in order to, by checking the methodology presented, better understand the missionary dynamics in the first communities. Although the catechumenal model is not explicit in the New Testament accounts and its emergence itself is later, verifying intuitions about it can shed light on missionary understanding in the early Church, in order to contribute to the discussion of returning to the sources, considering the catechumenal method and the practice present in biblical accounts. The presence of catechumenal evidence reveals a formative itinerary that gradually inserts the believer into the life of the community while leading to a conscious decision about adherence to faith. This methodology can inspire contributions to evangelizing practice. By approaching the cited texts in comparison with the stages of the catechumenate and collecting bibliographic data, seeks to investigate related patterns that may indicate a catechumenal methodological intuition and reflect on the evangelizing mission. Este estudo se propõe a verificar a presença de elementos comuns à metodologia catecumenal nos relatos neotestamentários de Mt 18,19-20 e At 8,26-40. É pertinente avaliar a descrição que os relatos apresentam sobre a ação evangelizadora a fim de, verificando a metodologia apresentada, melhor compreender a dinâmica missionária nas primeiras comunidades. Embora o modelo catecumenal não esteja explícito nos relatos neotestamentários e que seu surgimento propriamente dito seja posterior, verificar intuições a seu respeito pode lançar luzes sobre a compreensão missionária na Igreja primitiva e contribuir na discussão de retorno às fontes, considerando o método catecumenal e a prática presente nos relatos bíblicos. A presença de indícios catecumenais revela um itinerário formativo que gradualmente insere o fiel na vida da comunidade ao passo que conduz a uma decisão consciente sobre a adesão de fé. Esta metodologia pode inspirar contribuições para a prática evangelizadora. Abordando os textos citados em comparação com as etapas do catecumenato e realizando a coleta de dados bibliográficos, busca-se investigar padrões correlatos que possam indicar uma intuição metodológica catecumenal e refletir sobre a missão evangelizadora. Este estudio tiene como objetivo verificar la presencia de elementos comunes a la metodología catecumenal en los relatos del Nuevo Testamento de Mt 18,19-20 y At 8,26-40. Es pertinente evaluar la descripción que presentan los informes sobre la acción evangelizadora para, comprobando la metodología presentada, comprender mejor la dinámica misionera en las primeras comunidades. Aunque el modelo catecumenal no es explícito en los relatos del Nuevo Testamento y su surgimiento en sí es posterior, verificar intuiciones al respecto puede arrojar luz sobre la comprensión misionera en la Iglesia primitiva, para contribuir a la discusión sobre el retorno a las fuentes, considerando el modelo catecumenal. método y la práctica presentes en los relatos bíblicos. La presencia de evidencia catecumenal revela un itinerario formativo que gradualmente inserta al creyente en la vida de la comunidad al mismo tiempo que lo lleva a una decisión consciente sobre la adhesión a la fe.
