| Riepilogo: | A Santa Ceia é um dos dois (ou três) sacramentos do protestantismo histórico, conforme estabelecido a partir da Reforma Protestante. No século XVI, intensas discussões emergiram sobre as mudanças e adaptações necessárias para a prática desse sacramento, tanto na liturgia comunitária, com novas adaptações da Missa, quanto no acompanhamento pastoral de enfermos e moribundos. Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar a importância do sacramento, os processos de adaptação e a prática da Santa Ceia sob a ótica da piedade protestante emergente no contexto da Reforma, com ênfase especial no luteranismo. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica que se baseia em fontes alemãs para assegurar precisão e fidelidade das informações. Este estudo evidencia que a teologia protestante se desenvolveu em meio a controvérsias e que, nesse processo, surgiram diferenças entre a teoria teológica dos diversos reformadores e a prática piedosa das pessoas fiéis nas novas comunidades de fé protestantes. The Lord’s Supper is one of the two (or three) sacraments in historical Protestantism, as defined by the Protestant Reformation. In the sixteenth century, intense discussions arose regarding the necessary changes and adaptations for practicing this sacrament, both within communal liturgy, through new adaptations of the Mass, and in pastoral care for the sick and dying. This article seeks to analyze the significance of the sacrament, the adaptation processes, and the practice of the Lord’s Supper from the perspective of emerging Protestant piety during the Reformation, with a particular focus on Lutheranism. This bibliographical study draws on German sources to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information presented. The study demonstrates that Protestant theology developed amidst controversies, and within this process, notable differences emerged between the theological theories of various reformers and the pious practices of the faithful within the new Protestant faith communities. |
