Das Lehramt von Papst Franziskus und die synodalen Prozesse, die weltweit vorangetrieben werden, könnten einen Wendepunkt darstellen und einen neuen Zugang zur Kontextualität und zur Vielfältigkeit eröffnen. Im folgenden Beitrag wird anhand von zwei Quellen zu synodalen Prozessen analysiert (der KAAD-IWM-Studie "Synodaler Weg - Weltkirchliche Perspektiven" und den kontinentalen Berichten aus der Konsultationsphase der Weltsynode zur Synodalität), wie darin die Einheit und die Vielfalt der katholischen Kirche zugleich zum Ausdruck kommen und welche Herausforderungen sich daraus für die theologisch-pastorale Reflexion ergeben. | ||

In practice, however, the decades after the Council continued to be characterized by centralism and ecclesiastical homogeneity. Pope Francis and the synodal processes being promoted worldwide could mark a turning point and promote a new approach to contextuality and diversity.
