Trois dimensions décisives semblent alors pouvoir être mises en avant qui touchent au point de repère de l’incarnation comme telle renvoyant à l’accueil de Dieu en notre humanité, à la révélation concernant l’hospitalité qu’offre Jésus-Christ en son humanité concrète et, enfin, au projet de fraternité ouverte à l’universel auquel invite celui-ci. | ||

Theoretical difficulties must first be overcome before considering the practical dimensions of the problem. To do this, we need to show that theology has a primary - and not a secondary or derivative - relationship with the issue of welcoming migrants. Three decisive dimensions should be highlighted: the reference point of the Incarnation as such, referring to God’s welcome of our humanity; the revelation of the hospitality offered by Jesus Christ in his concrete humanity; and the project of universal fraternity to which he invites us. | ||
