What might be seen today as self-evident is nonetheless the fruit of important work markedly characteristic of theology in the second half of the 20th century. Congar is a significant witness to this, most especially in his attempt to conceive the place of the Holy Spirit in Christology. Although critical of the classical theology of the Incarnate Word, his proposal nevertheless does not make it out-dated. Rereading Congar shows us how very necessary is the articulation of he articles of faith among themselves (especially Incarnation, Pneumatology and Trinity). It is within this articulation that dogmatic theology asserts one of the major forms of its rationality. | ||

Ce qui peut sembler aujourd'hui comme une évidence est pourtant le fruit d'un travail important qui marque fortement la théologie de la 2nde moitié du XXe siècle. Congar en est un témoin significatif, en particulier dans son essai de penser la place de l'Esprit Saint en christologie. Critique par rapport à la théologie classique du Verbe incarné, sa proposition ne parvient sans doute pas, cependant, à la rendre caduque. Une relecture de Congar montre combien est nécessaire l'articulation des articles de la foi entre eux, spécialement Incarnation, Pneumatologie et Trinité. C'est dans cette articulation que la théologie dogmatique exerce une des formes majeures de sa rationalité. | ||
