| 520 | |a Negli ultimi anni le diocesi in Europa, in tempi e modi diversi, sono intervenute con ampie modifiche nella riorganizzazione territoriale delle parrocchie al fine di rendere la presenza ecclesiale nel territorio più efficace e più rispondente alle radicali trasformazioni nel frattempo intervenute sia dal punto di vista sociale che pastorale. L'articolo, senza pretesa di tipo esaustivo, offre alcuni esempi di questo tipo di interventi. In Italia le diocesi hanno fatto prevalentemente ricorso al modello delle unità pastorali, talvolta indicate con altri nomi, ma sostanzialmente riconducibili a forme di aggregazione tra le parrocchie esistenti nella convinzione che l’unione fa la forza. Tali modalità di aggregazione vorrebbero superare il modello della parrocchia autoreferenziale e favorire l’unità e la dinamicità delle risorse umane, sia clericali che laicali, in una prospettiva più protesa alla evangelizzazione. Qualche accenno alla situazione ecclesiale francese, accanto al ricorso alle unità pastorali, ha mostrato come diverse diocesi hanno preferito soluzioni più avanzate con la creazione di parrocchie nuove passando attraverso la soppressione o l'accorpamento estintivo delle parrocchie storiche. Anche la Germania si è addentrata nella prospettiva della costituzione di parrocchie nuove rispondendo al calo vistoso del clero con forme di maggiore corresponsabilità dei laici e il ricorso a nuove forme di ministerialità. | ||
| 520 | |a In recent years, the dioceses in Europe, at different times and in different ways, have intervened with extensive changes in the territorial reorganisation of parishes to make the Church’s presence in the territory more effective and more responsive to the radical transformations that have taken place in the meantime, both from a social and pastoral point of view. Without claiming to be exhaustive, the article offers some examples of this type of intervention. In Italy, dioceses have predominantly resorted to the model of pastoral units, sometimes referred to by other names, but essentially referable to forms of aggregation between existing parishes in the conviction that union is strength. Such forms of aggregation would like to overcome the model of the self-referential parish and favour unity and dynamism of human resources, both clerical and lay, in a perspective more aimed at evangelisation. A few references to the French ecclesial situation, alongside recourse to pastoral units, showed how several dioceses have preferred more advanced solutions with the creation of new parishes through the suppression or extinction of historical parishes. Germany, too, has entered into the prospect of establishing new parishes by responding to the conspicuous decline in the number of clergy with forms of greater co-responsibility of the laity and recourse to new forms of ministry. | ||
