Ziel war es, die katholische Lehre und Glaubenspraxis umzusetzen, wie sie am Konzil von Trient standardisiert worden war. Durch die Einordnung des Textes in sein historisches und konfessionelles Umfeld wird die wenig erforschte Phase vor dem Einsetzen größerer gegenreformatorischer Maßnahmen in Österreich unter der Enns und Wien beleuchtet. | ||
