It begins with a brief historical overview of early Pentecostal efforts to train pastors and leaders. Continues with a selected number of current realities and challenges faced in the larger landscape of Biblical training, such as educational quality, resources, and access. It proposes several new futures to elevate the value of theological education for Pentecostal ministry. First, a quest for genuine support in a globalized world, second, an understanding of contextual Pentecostal praxis, inclusive of diverse theological perspectives. Lastly, an emphasis on strategic partnerships for the benefit of God’s kingdom by joining efforts to educate Pentecostal leaders for present and future generations.
